nRichard Hughes lectured on Literature at the University of London and was a fellow at the Royal Society of Literature, and an honorary member of both the National Institute and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Hughes was born in Weybridge, London and educated at Charterhouse and Oriel College, Oxford. Hughes’ first published article, an answer to Alec Waugh’s book “The Loom of Youth” appeared in ‘Spectator’ in 1917. Hughes was a great Writer and Scholar. He actively cooperated with Dr. T. F. Allen to compile his “Encyclopedia” and rendered immeasurable aid to Dr Dudgeon in translating Hahnemann’s “MateriaMedicaPura” into English.
